Proudly Supporting the Allied War Veterans

Every year on March 17, South Boston comes alive with the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. What was once a religious feast day dedicated to the patron saint of Ireland has blossomed into a celebration of Irish culture, complete with parades, lively dancing, traditional foods, and, of course, a sea of green.

Abacus Builders was honored to be a part of this vibrant celebration. We rolled into the South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade with not one but two of our trucks. Each was filled with family and friends. It was a day of camaraderie, laughter, and joy.

We owe a special thanks to Neil Kelly for his skillful work in building the platform inside the truck. He helped make our presence in the parade even more spectacular. Jeff, Ger, and Victoria were the driving force behind our parade entry, ensuring it moved with grace and spirit.

A massive shoutout to Dee, Trisha, Nikki, Elyse, Nessa, and all the kids who braved the brisk March weather, proudly waving flags, and enthusiastically tossing beads to the cheering crowd. You brought the Abacus Builders’ spirit to life, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

South Boston’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is not just an event; it’s a celebration of heritage, community, and togetherness. We’re proud to have been a part of it, and we look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.
