Joe comes to Abacus Builders & General Contractors with over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry. Joe started as a laborer in Colorado Spring CO. working on high end custom home for Rocky Mountain Pacific Builders. Joe learned to frame and side homes working with RMPB for 6 years. Joe then moved on to a tract home developer running a framing and siding crew for the next 4 years. Joe then returned back to the east coast area where he originally grew up. He began work as an estimator for the real estate giant Spaulding and Slye. In his tenure at S&E Joe was promoted through the ranks eventually serving as Director of Construction Operations for New England Executive Park in Burlington MA. During his time at S&E Joe attended Northeastern University, majoring in Design Build Constriction and Contract Law. He also attended Boston University majoring in Building Envelope Systems and Integrated Designs. After working for ten years with Spaulding and Slye Joe set off on his own path in various management capacity positions in the construction industry, serving as owner’s representative and construction budget and design consultant for high end custom and coastal homes, historical renovations, and restaurant and hospitality projects. It is that diversity and experience in the industry we feel will be a huge asset to us here at Abacus Builders & General Contractors.
