Abacus Builders is preparing for a new six-story mixed-use development at 555 Talbot Avenue in Peabody Square, designed by RODE Architects. The proposed project will include 34 residential units, ground-floor restaurant space, private balconies, a roof deck and new outdoor space designed to strengthen the building’s connection to the surrounding neighborhood. The design responds to the unique scale and character of Peabody Square while bringing new housing and commercial space to a prominent Dorchester location.
