s Project Spotlight: Transforming a Two-Family Home into a Forever Single-Family Residence in South Boston

At first glance, this project may seem like a typical full gut remodel in South Boston, but the unique aspect lies in the owners’ decision to transform their newly purchased two-family property into their forever home. Once the permits were issued, we began with a complete full gut renovation of the existing structure. This included digging out the basement and lowering the floor slab to create higher ceilings and a more functional basement space. We also installed French drains to manage water flow, leading to a rear yard recharge system designed to prevent water accumulation and ensure long-term durability.
